Writing About Yourself - Whats in My Head?
Writing About Yourself - 'What's in My Head?'There are many ways to answer the question 'What's in your head?' When it comes to writing about yourself and how you see yourself, a great starting point is a good question or two. You can use the thoughts you find while looking at yourself in the mirror or in your mind's eye. You can also use your notes from studying how to write about yourself in articles about yourself and your life and your future. When you find that main idea, work backwards to the future and when you come to the point in time you want to put your essay on paper, answer that question and include the solution. There is no time limit for you to answer these questions; however, you should spend some time thinking about it before actually writing the essay. The best part of writing an essay about yourself is that you are able to express yourself in a personal way.Always make sure that you write about yourself in a positive way. Never criticize yourself and always try to b e funny and lighthearted at all times. Always allow yourself to have fun with your essay because if you are serious about it, you will always come across as a bad writer.A lot of people ask, 'Well, what's in my head?' Many writers tend to focus on negative aspects in their lives and when they attempt to write about them, they feel they cannot bring out the humor in themselves because of the harsh criticisms of others. To avoid this, try to write about yourself in a positive light because it shows others that you have fun when you are expressing yourself in an essay. If you want to find the answer to the question 'What's in my head?' remember that you can start by talking to yourself about your habits, relationships, and what your hopes and dreams are. Have some fun with it, and if possible have a few friends over and have a conversation about them. You should never have to be alone to answer this question as it comes with everyone's life.By creating a picture of your own life before you begin your essay, you can even write about all of the things you could have changed before you wrote your essay. Ask yourself what you would have changed to avoid getting the question about 'What's in my head?'The hard part is trying to write about yourself without sounding negative. Try to speak from a positive and optimistic perspective because it shows that you have a good sense of humor and that you enjoy yourself even when you are reflecting on your past experiences. You don't have to be dramatic, just honest.Try to write about yourself and talk about good history and events in your life to make your essay even more meaningful. Remember that a good essay is all about a good story and once you have answered 'What's in my head?' , you have already answered that question and you can continue to write about yourself until you come up with a good story.
